Hi mcsweeny family since Renee Busch the literacy specialist at McSweeney and videos that I will put out to kind of help with the teaching of reading at her cousin because if we all do our part we can come out with some Rockstar readers the first day of you is the sound spelling cards these are the cards that are posted in all classrooms she came through fifth and your child uses these to help with their reading whether they're reading a story or they're just reading words but these sound spelling cards are their way of learning to sound out the word on the card is the letter the picture and then they learn this down to the card makes and then at the bottom of the card you will see different ways to spell that sound so I'm going to start with the first letter of the alphabet I will go through the first time A through Z what I do want you to know is a spelling at the bottom of the card are generally the most common spelling but I will introduce these cards to you Apple bicycle canoe D dolphin egg F fossil G gorilla H horse I in it Jay jump hey karate El lemon M map I'm sorry next oh octopus Puma shoe quilt Club rabbit Sun tomato you umbrella V van w wallaby Xbox why yo yo yo zipper
